Ambica Banerjee is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha. He was elected as a Trinamool Congress candidate from Howrah (Lok Sabha constituency).[1] A mechanical engineer by qualification he was born on 28 August 1928.[2]

In 2001, 1996, 1991, 1987 and 1982 state assembly elections, Ambica Banerjee won from the Howrah Central assembly seat.[3]
